LAGC: ND Lagrangian Continuum Mechanics Programs

Wessex Scientific and Technical Services

Overview

LAGC is a program to calculate the dynamic response of materials in 1D or multi-dimensions to impact or dynamic loading. The programs set up the computational domain (defining the initial position, velocity and state of each region), integrate the continuum equations in time, re-zone the mesh, and display graphics.

The current versions of LAGC are written in C++ using the ARIADNE material model library, the mathematical class library and the graphics class library.
